at the dinner table...last night

After a day's work in the office, I braved the traffic to drive home early to cook dinner for the kids. I made something extraordinary with a regular mainstay in our menu - "menudo"

With tender pork meat cubes and pork liver cubes, marinated, simmered and sauteed with garlic and onions. I added my favorites: Reno liver spread, Del Monte tomato sauce and Nestle All Purpose Cream. For a healthier, colorful and appetising dish I put in marble potatoes, carrots, sweet green peppers and my very own combination of spices to perk up all the flavors in the dish...whaaala...a dish my kids loved and enjoyed.
